As Fall creeps closer, the spooky season does as well. That makes it the perfect time to pick up a new horror game to play, and Xbox players will soon have a new option added to their catalog for purchase. This is because Poppy Playtime Chapter 1 just confirmed its Xbox release date.

Release Date Confirmed for Poppy Playtime Chapter 1 on Xbox

Poppy Playtime Chapter 1: A Tight Squeeze is coming to Xbox on July 12 with a price tag of $4.99 USD. If you want to purchase it as soon as possible and play it immediately as it’s released, then you might consider picking it up during the pre-sale, which starts July 5. So far, a total of three chapters have been released. But for the time being, only the first chapter is arriving on Xbox. The others will likely be coming at a future date.

An indie horror game perfect for fans of Five Nights at Freddy’s, Poppy Playtime puts you in the role of a former Playtime Co. employee. After receiving a strange letter with a VHS tape, you embark on a journey to your old workplace with the goal of resolving the mystery of your fellow coworkers who went missing. Naturally, that task is easier said than done. As you explore, you uncover more mysteries and horrors that weave together the deep lore of Poppy Playtime. A story that then continues through additional chapters.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 1 confirmed its Xbox release date, and that means that it should be a matter of time until the other chapters arrive on the platform. I personally favor Chapter 3 and all the story content and revelations that come with it, but you definitely need to start from the beginning.
