YouTube personality Markiplier, who is considered the main broadcaster, has criticized the third game as being the same experience for a third time. Markiplier has also commented that personally he doesn’t enjoy playing Five Nights At Freddy’s series, because the second and third games focused entirely on jumpscares.

Five Nights At Freddy’s 3 (pictured above) suddenly just appeared on the Steam Store unannounced, which sent social media outlets into shock with the sudden arrival of the game. Scott Cawthon is now famous for one of the most rapidly expanding and most famous horror franchises around.

The question now is what comes next. If Cawthon makes a fourth game to the franchise, will it be announced? Will all of the current animatronics and maybe more be featured in the next game? Will the series change and grow, or will it stick to the old formula at the risk of losing fans?
