The Ty'aitya mount is purchased with Turali Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers in FFXIV Dawntrail, but how do you get those?

If you want to pick up the Ty’aitya mount from the Luxury Vendor in Mor Dhona, you’ll need to spend a lot of Bicolor Gemstones. 50,000, to be exact. Since you can’t carry that many at one time, Gemstone Vouchers are a must. Here’s how to get Turali Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers in FFXIV Dawntrail.

FFXIV Dawntrail: How to Get Turali Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers

Gemstone Vouchers aren’t new to Dawntrail, but the Turali version of them is the latest addition. A single Turali Bicolor Gemstone Voucher costs 100 Bicolor Gemstones. Although you don’t have to earn the gemstones in the new areas, you’ll pick up a fair amount in the process of unlocking the vouchers. Only the Gemstone Traders in Tuliyollal (X: 12.8, Y: 13) and Solution Nine (X: 8.3, Y: 14) sell these vouchers. Unfortunately, those two traders are only available after you achieve the max rank (Rank 4) for Fates in each Dawntrail zone.

Ranking Up Fates in FFXIV Dawntrail

Right now, hitting Rank 4 for Fates is a bit easier because there tends to be at least one Fate Party roaming around. Even if you don’t join the party itself, following them and participating in the same Fates makes the process of ranking up much faster. Since the final Gemstone Traders are unlocked at Rank 4, you need to complete a total of 66 Fates in each new zone.

Of course, if you don’t want to grind Fates, but you have a lot of Gil, you can purchase Turali Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers from the Marketboard. The availability and price will inevitably vary by server, but it’s an option if you have the Gil and prefer to skip doing so many Fates. Then, you can head to Mor Dhona to pick up one of Dawntrail’s 13 new mounts.

That’s how to get Turali Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers in FFXIV Dawntrail. But it’s far from the only new content you might be interested in. If that’s the case, then head to our FFXIV guide hub for more pieces about the Warrior of Light’s latest adventure!
