Aberrant Action PvE and PvP God Rolls in Destiny 2

The Aberrant Action rocket Sidearm is a new and fantatsic addition to the Destiny 2 sandbox, especially if you get a PvE or PvP god roll.

Rocket Sidearms have been some of the new hotness in Destiny 2, and with Echoes Act 2, we finally have a Solar version. The Abberant Action comes equipped with top-tier god rolls for both PvE and PvP, meaning you’ll want to get at least one good copy or, better yet, a crafted version.

If you want to add some additional explosions to your Solar or Prismatic build in Destiny 2, the Aberrant Action can do wonders in both PvE and PvP. Equipped with a suite of amazing perks that function incredibly well no matter where you use them, you will want to get the crafted version as soon as possible to guarantee your god roll.

The Aberrant Action PvE God Roll in Destiny 2

  • Barrel: Quick Launch, Smart Drift Control
  • Magazine: Appended Mag, High-Velocity Rounds
  • Trait 1: Heal Clip, Ambitious Assassin
  • Trait 2: Incandescent, Golden Tricorn

When in PvE, if you can combine damage output and survivability, you’re doing it right. If you can add in synergy with your subclass, even better. The Abberant Action PvE god roll does all three. Heal Clip gives Cure on reload after defeating an enemy. Incandescent makes defeated enemies explode and spreads Scorch. With Quick Launch or Smart Drift Control active, the weapon is easier to use. And with Appended Mag, you get three additional rounds before reloading. It’s the whole package, plain and simple.

The Aberrant Action PvP God Roll in Destiny 2

  • Barrel: Linear Compensator, Quick Launch
  • Magazine: High-Velocity Rounds, High-Explosive Ordinance
  • Trait 1: Beacon Rounds, Heal Clip
  • Trait 2: Golden Tricorn, Swashbuckler

While rocket Sidearms aren’t the world-beaters in PvP they are in PvE, the Aberrant Action is still a force to be reckoned with in the Crucible, should you choose to use it. The perk selection is similar to PvE but with a higher focus on damage output than survivability. Both Golen Tricorn and Swashbuckler are fantastic for prolonged fights, and Heal Clip can be a godsend in the same. However, Beacon Rounds can be a solid substitute for more overall lethality thanks to it adding tracking to the weapon’s rounds.

The best part of the Aberrant Action is, like most new, not-refreshed Episodic weapons, you can craft it by getting enough red border Deepsight versions. That ensures you can always have a god roll on hand for either PvE or PvP, and you can even spend Ascendant materials to get Enhanced versions of the perks that are even more powerful.
