There are over 80 specializations in Once Human that allow you to unlock new crafting recipes, build new structures and upgrade them, as well as improve various weapons. In this guide, I’ll provide you with a tier list of the best specializations in Once Human, including their respective unlock levels.

S-Tier Specializations

Once you reach the top-tier levels in Once Human, you can start unlocking some amazing specializations, including the ones that double resource yields, make your character invisible, transform regular resources into rare ones, improve loot crate drops, etc. Note that some of the top-tier specializations may appear at lower levels, too. But since that’s not a 100% guarantee, to make sure, I listed the level numbers that will most definitely unlock their respective specializations.

A-Tier Specializations

Before you reach the top levels, you’ll be given a chance to unlock specializations that provide various tactical advantages, including generator power increase, electric furnace usage, improved drones and machines, synthesis bench usage, and many other cool features.

B-Tier Specializations

The following specializations are the most used in the game, although they provide only limited advantages, such as tool durability increase, effective energy linking, portable fuel usage, movement speed increase, number of generators increase, and others.

C-Tier Specializations

Finally, in this tier, I picked the most common specializations that all players can use to facilitate their gameplay in the early stages. Here, you start with such simple things as sleeping to cure diseases, crafting basic gear and weapons, increasing your backpack capacity, increasing the shelf life of your cooked food, and many other basic features.
