Fallout London Crashing Fixes

Before we just into some more general fixes, we want to bring your attention to a fix from a user on Reddit which seems to be working for a lot of players. We’ll run you through what to do.

First of all, you’ll want to install Buffout 4 to the Fallout 4 folder on your PC, following the instructions on the Buffout 4 Nexus Mods page. Do note that you don’t need any of the dependencies as they are already installed by the game.

You will need to go into your Fallout 4 install folder, go to the data folder, and you’ll see a F4SE, which you need to overwrite with the new one you downloaded.

Then, go into compatibility mode and opt to run the game as an administrator. Launch the game through this instead. We haven’t tried it ourselves, as we haven’t had crashing issues, but according to other Reddit users, it has worked a treat.

Other Fixes

In terms of other fixes you could try out that may do the job, there are a couple of options beyond waiting for a fix on the developers’ end.

Since Fallout London is a mod for an older game, you could download an older graphics driver and try to run the game using that, which should take away any strain that’s causing crashes.

Alternatively, other players have suggested fully closing the game in its entirety, which seems obvious but has helped some, or removing any other mods you have installed that you aren’t currently using. If any of these options work, let us know.
