Where to Farm for Valuable Shell in Enotria: The Last Song

While Valuable Shell can drop from almost any crab, including the Coastal Horror bosses found throughout Falesia Magna and Litumnia, the best way to farm for the item is to focus on the everyday crabs that spawn.

There are two primary locations you want to focus on. The first is in the Turf of the Coastal Horror in Falesia Magna. There are three to four crabs at the bottom of the cliff where you first enter the area. These are fighting a Spaventa Army unit and will often kill them. The crabs here are already above ground and easily respawned by returning to the nearby Reality Knot.

The second location is in the Spaventa Army encampment closest to Necropolis and Crabbert. This encampment is void of humanoid enemies. If you’re coming from the Reality Knot at the Turf of the Coastal Horror, you need to make your way past the barricade and cannon, through the first encampment and past the two Colossus.

These crabs are hiding in the sand, so you’ll need to wander through the barracks to have them appear. There are four in total in this location. Once you reach the Necropolis Reality Knot, respawning these crabs becomes much easier.

You can continue to travel through the area, amassing Memoria from other enemies along the way, as well as farming for mask shards. Or you can fast travel between Necropolis and Turf of the Coastal Horror, resetting the spawns as you go. You won’t need to farm too long before you have a sizeable collection you can sell off.

Why Farm Valuable Shell

As mentioned above, Valuable Shell is an item that is meant to be sold. Mecenate will buy a single shell for 2,000 Memoria. Often, a crab will drop two to three shells at a time. Farming Valuable Shell can result in 50,000-100,000 Memoria quite quickly.

Add in the Memoria you gain from actually defeating the crabs and it’s a worthy time investment, especially as you get further in the game and leveling up costs more.

Those are the best locations to farm for Valuable Shell. While there are other crabs you can kill, these are the easiest to reach and respawn enemies in for efficient farming. For more tips, check out our Enotria: The Last Song guides.
