Crabbert is an NPC in Enotria: The Last Song who’s hiding in the sands of Falesia Magna. A hint tells you there’s a way to make him appear, but you have to figure out what the action is. After trying various methods, this is how to make Crabbert appear in Enotria: The Last Song.
How to Have Crabbert Show Himself in Enotria: The Last Song
While adventuring in Falesia Magna, you’ll come across a suspicious area of sand that seems to be shifting, though there’s no apparent creature in the area. This is between the last Spaventa Army encampment before you reach the Necropolis Reality Knot. It often has a single skeleton soldier patrolling.
When you first come across this path of sand, the game will tell you that there’s a way to make whoever is hiding, Crabbert, appear. Given the name and pile of crab carcasses nearby, you can assume it’s a crab NPC.
There are a variety of methods that could unearth the creature.
- Ardore Burst
- Equipping Aspect of Paguro
- Equipping shell weapons before interacting with the sand
- Having no Valuable Shells in inventory when interacting with the sand
- Killing all Coastal Horror bosses
None of these methods work. The only way Crabbert will appear is by having the Spaventa Army Mask equipped for your active loadout. The Necropolis Reality Knot is the closest one you can utilize to change your mask, and the best one to fast travel to when the mask has been created.
Interacting with the sand with the mask on, Crabbert will pop up excitedly, thinking you’re his papa. A sweet exchange ensues, and as long as you agree to be his friend, he’ll remain friendly. He can hide back under the sand, inviting you to join him, or he’ll remain above ground.
Pulcinella will materialize to the right of Crabbert. Speaking with him adds a new entry to the compendium titled The Magician, continuing with the theme of Major Arcana Tarot cards to reference certain characters.
That’s how to make Crabbert, the friendly Paguro appear from the sand of Falesia Magna. For help crafting the Spateva Army Mask or what elements do, head to our Enotria: The Last Song guides for help.
