How to Solve Internal Server Error 500 in Roblox
There are multiple solutions you can attempt to apply locally to solve the Error 500 (Internal Server Error) in Roblox.
- Try to clear your Web Browser’s Cache. Depending on whether you’re using Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Opera, Safari, or another browser, this process may differ. This is located in the settings of your browser and once you open then, you can internally search for “cache” in the settings, and the option should present itself to you on the screen. This troubleshooting step is done to make sure that your data is not corrupted or outdated. Please make sure to know that this might log you out of some of the websites you are using actively.
- Try to use a different Web Browser. If you are afraid of messing something up with your original browser by using the previous troubleshooting step, maybe you can use a specific browser just for Roblox, which will make the data losses minimal?
- Try to disable extensions in your main Web Browser. Some extensions can randomly impact your connection to Roblox servers in a negative way. The best way to test this is to disable all of them and check if Roblox started working. If it did, you need to enable your extensions one by one to find out which one is the culprit of the problem.
- Try to check if Roblox is down or not on the DownDetector website. Sometimes, this ain’t a problem on your end! If you see that many players are complaining that they cannot play, it might be a world-wide issue we’re dealing with. In this case, you just need to sit back and wait until Roblox servers are fixed or… do something else?
- Check if your connection is ok. Turn on a random speed test (you can use Ookla’s or Google’s, Cloudflare’s, for example) and see if there are any ping or jitter anomalies. Just in case, you can plug your router off and then plug it back in after about 10-15 seconds.
