Where to Find Bargniff in Enotria: The Last Song

The first time you see Bargniff is near the Clocktower Reality Knot in Litumnia. He’s a giant frog with a mask on his forehead and a luminescent flower protruding from the top of his head. He’s on the left side of the square, at the edge of the water.

When you speak with him the first time, he pronounces that he will ask you three riddles. He doesn’t state what you’ll receive in return, but helping other NPCs has resulted in a Special Mask or unique weapon.

To solve his riddles, talk with him with the correct mask. Answering incorrectly doesn’t cause anything to happen, so don’t worry if you accidently talk to him with the wrong mask on.

How to Solve Bargniff’s First Riddle

After chatting with him initially, Bargniff poses his first riddle.

The Riddle: Brains not brawn define you. You slice, you dice, but never flesh.

The Answer: Piercing Wit Mask

Upon answering correctly, the frog moves on to a second location.

How to Solve Bargniff’s Second Riddle

Reaching Bargniff’s second location takes a bit of work, as he’s deep in the city. If you’ve already explored the area, the fastest way to him is to fast travel to the Highborne Streets Reality Knot. Travel towards the Astrarium area of the city until you end up at the small canal that’s gated off.

There’s a ledge to the right you want to traverse, which prompts Bargniff to appear. Drop down onto the lower platform to speak with him.

The Riddle: In ruby robes, you fervently implore, devotion unyielding, her voice you await.

The Answer: Vermiglio’s Mask

How to Solve Bargniff’s Third Riddle

For his final riddle, Bargniff heads to the Mines of Gratia. He’s located in the area you face the Master Gondolier, in the lowest part of the mines. Fast travel to the Mines of Gratia Reality Knot, then jump down the ledge. Head to the right and climb the stones. Take the path to the end where you’ll face the boss, unless you’ve already defeated him. Bargniff appears on the leftmost side of the water.

The Riddle: Through winding waterways, your vessel glides, in a city of bridges, where secrets reside.

The Answer: Gondolier’s Mask

With all three riddles answered, Bargniff opens a hidden pathway for you to travel. This is how you can reach the deepest part of the mines and encounter Litho, one of the three Gods.
