To all those poor Fallout fans that are on Android and are not able to play the #1 selling game on Apple’s App Store, the wait is almost over – Fallout Shelter is expected to release for Android in August.
Bethesda’s VP of marketing and public relations, Pete Hines, was asked about the game by a fan on Twitter, and he responded saying that the game was looking good and it should be out for Android in about a month.
Fallout Shelter was announced during Bethesda’s E3 presentation for the much anticipated Fallout 4. The game allows you to control your very own vault, and as your settlement of vault dwellers grow larger and larger, you can send them out on missions, and managing each of the rooms becomes even more hectic.
The game was initially released for the iPhone and boasts great reviews. It quickly overtook every game in the App Store, as it became the bestselling app on the market. Gameskinny’s own review of the game gave it a 9.
Although the wait for Fallout Shelter is nearing an end for Android users, both Apple and Android fanboys will have to suffer the long wait for Fallout 4 coming this November. But at least everyone has something to pass some time on now before the big bombs drop.
