According to a recent post on the PlayStation Blog, the massively difficult but well-received Action RPG, Bloodborne will be getting a well-deserved Game of the Year Edition that will release on November 27, 2015.

Easily the biggest draw to this new package, will be the inclusion of the not-yet-released DLC pack, The Old Hunters.

The Old Hunters expansion will be available on November 24th to players who already own the base game. It will feature a plethora of new gear, weapons, and environments. One of the more standout features of The Old Hunters will be the ability for players to transform into a fearsome beast, which adds quality depth to an already satisfying experience.

Quick TakeBloodborne is one of the few games in recent years to release a Game of the Year Edition and actually be worthy of the name. To be fair, not every game that releases this kind of package specifically calls it “Game of the Year Edition,” but the idea is the same. Past Game of the Year Editions to come out include the original Borderlands, Dead Island, and Halo 4. Those are good games to be sure, but Game of the Year is tossed around a bit liberally these days.
