Nintendo is making a new system code-named the Nintendo NX. It’s unfortunate, but there isn’t much faith left in Nintendo in the eyes of many gamers. They’ve released underwhelming consoles and failed to capture hard-core gamers with their innovations. Let’s lay out what we know about the console, and then add some speculation as to what if possibly be.
We know that the console will be a hybrid system fusing mobile and console gaming.
The NX is being marketed more of as a “platform” rather than a console. Nintendo plans to bring together smartphone, tablets, PCs, and the NX. We also know the console will house “industry-leading chips,” so the console should be as strong as or stronger than current-gen consoles such as PS4 or Xbox One. Other than those two points not much else is known about the console. Developer units have been sent, but it’s unlikely specs or anything will be leaked anytime soon.
But, what is the Nintendo NX? How is Nintendo fusing mobile and console together? Could the console possibly be a tablet in itself that can connect to your television? Could it act as a streaming box that can beam game to your mobile platform while you’re away from home? Sound off on the comments below as to what you guys think the Nintendo NX is. Also, Can the Nintendo NX help resurrect the ailing game developer?
