World of Warcraft went above and beyond for their player-base, giving them a huge gift for their 11th anniversary this year. Unlike normal anniversary gifts that are small tokens from the game to the players, this year’s gift was huge.

Special Gift for Players

In World of Warcraft, they sent out the gifts via the mailbox in the form of a gift box. Contained inside is a cosmetic bind-on-account attachment of the legendary blade, Thunderfury. The Thunderfury has five charges, and inside the box is also a costume set of Deadmines boss Edwin VanCleef, along with 50 charges. Also included are wands with Murloc and Gnoll disguises, with 5 charges each, and an experience boost worth 11%.

This special anniversary event is running from November 16th through November 30th, giving players an adequate amount of time to claim their items. Although these may seem like silly items, it’s a token from World of Warcraft showing their players that they do care and love having them enjoy their creation.

Do you think it’s nice that World of Warcraft gave out items for their 11th anniversary? Could they have given out something better and more limited edition? Share your thoughts with me below!
