Tally Ho Chaps, lo and behold! Here I stand upon the very plight that would have me address you once more I say! Of course to many of my following readers I may sport that it is rather strange of me to be using this accent, I can assure you most devoutly, T’was a bet gone astray. WHAT WHAT?!
You see as I have adopted this rather spiffing accent with due reason-
A dare, as I am British, and lets face it-
MY INS4NITY, CHAPS HOLDS NO BOUNDS!
Of course with this nose of mine I have smelled a World Of Warcraft Tweet:
“World of Warcraft: Dark Riders is now on sale: http://bit.ly/10IWabh Make sure to get your copy! pic.twitter.com/jEeJyAkKDc “
And to what avail would my overly British stereotype of an accent do?
Given recent splendifferational circumstance, I am obligated to inform you that this accent is relevant to the topic. As I am both a wolf, and that the Worgen in World of Warcraft, what this graphic novel is about are based on are actually parodies at the stereotype of the British also! Worgen!
Here my good fellows and fine ladies, is an article a mere young babe of a tweet no less than an hour old! Spiffing that I am able to establish this article so quickly for your perusal, is it not? Although I fear my accent differentiates from the Gilnean (Worgen) One, and as an avid Worgen roleplayer, I feel obligated to change tone to their racial dialect in-game to explain:
Oi Oi me’ chipper chappies an’ lovelies! Dark riders is a roite’ noice’ novel fer ya’ ta’ read!
Cooorrrr ee’ sez’! Its abou’ a wolf cult an’ a ruddy mage tryin’ ta’ retreive an artifact loike! Now then, Now then, Now then! Here’s ya’ cut on tha’ jib eh?
This oi’d add is a well funny roight convienience oi say! Cuz’ in worl’ o’ warcraf’ tha’ very first worgen wer’ real ruddy feral! If oi’ were breif abou’ tha’ tell-‘a’-tale oi’d tell ya straight, roight off tha’ chopper-block eh’?
Now when oi says feral loike, Oi’ll tell ya’ chappies they wernt ‘uman at all!
Oi’l s’plain loike! Fwaaaar blimey! where ta’ begin on tha’ tale o’ tha’ worgen! Well i’ all starts out a few thaaa’san’ years ago! Tha’ first druids o’ tha’ fang starts goin’ feral-loike don’ they!? If oi’ were’ ta’ puts it blunt roight’, they go’ so feral the’ humanoid forms turned ta’ worgen! Eh eh’ eh!
straight afta’ loike, Malfurion Stormrage Banishes em’ ta’ tha’ emerald dream wi’ an artifact created from the wolf god’s (Goldrinn’s) Fang an’ a staff! it makes tha’ Scythe Of Elune which turns em’ all inta’ fuzzy-woofers! An’ ee’ banishe’s em ta’ tha’ emerald dream! Naaaw’ then, years lata’ a mage in Dalaran goes ta’ Silverpine ta’ escape tha’ plagues in Lordaeron tha’ scourge an’ tha’ chizz! Silverpine keep tabby exact!
Eee’ gets there an’ this Archmage Aragul bloke finds out abou’ summonin’ tha’ worgen, Thinkin ee’ can use em’ ta’ foight tha’ scourge loike! They appears an’ kill everyone bu’ ‘im! Ending up wit’ a castle o’ ferals, Eee’ gets depressed an’ lives wit’ em!
(Fun Trivia: Aragul threw a gold coin into Dalaran’s fountain and made a wish, “I wish someday to retire to my own tidy little estate, with a bunch of pet dogs to keep me company.” IRONY!)
Soon afta’ them worgen got’s themselves inta’ Gilneas! Tha’ Bloody chippa’ chappa’s bit most of tha’ city! Blimey!
An’ how they got inta’ duskwood? Tha’ portal there connects ta’ tha’ emerald dream! They leaked through inta’ tha’ woods!
How many of you understood Gilnean? Here’s a translation of wow lore there for those who don’t: The druids of the pack in World of Warcraft had feral problems, and the Scythe of Elune was made to help them control their feral forms. Sadly it backfired into the first worgen, real feral’s who were promptly banished with the scythe into the emerald dream. Soon after they leaked through the portal in duskwood into its residence and took inhabitence. Sadly also An archmage from Dalaran named Aragul decided to release the worgen and summon them in Silverpine to combat the forsaken in Lordaeron. Lo and behold, Feral pooches get unleashed, and Shadowfang Keep in Silverpine is overrun with them, as is the woods, and Pyrewood village nearby.
Gilneas in such close proximity gets overrun with them, and soon after? Worgen bites turn the population into furies!
Golly, What a spiffing change the exploration of stereotypes has made to writing!
There’s worgen lore, Hope you find the novel interesting!
Now if I would remove myself from your acquaintance chaps and ladies, after this brief chunk of lore and artwork from various respective sources I shall depart to bite the face of those that would ridicule me on Black Ops Two, Muahahaha! Toodle Pip!
