Escape From Tarkov is taking weapon customisation to insane new levels

Battlestate Games have been showing off some features from their upcoming MMO survival FPS, Escape From Tarkov, by showcasing the mindblowing number of customisation options available for the game’s weapons.

The game is set in the fictional, war-torn city of Tarkov and sees the player taking the role of a mercenary who managed to survive the initial conflict. You’ll need to pick your side and make your way, battling with rival groups and belligerent civilians alike. Naturally in such a hostile environment you’ll need to be well armed, and it seems like Escape From Tarkov has you well covered in that department.

In the video we see a Kalashnikov rifle transformed into something almost unrecognisable, everything from the magazine to the stock, the sights to the grip, it’s all fair game for modding. These changes aren’t just cosmetic though, they’ll have a genuine affect on the gun’s performance. Indeed it seems realism is something Battlestate Games are really striving for in this ambitious shooter. Don’t take my word for it though, you can check it out for yourself in the video below.
