Star Fox team takes on The Galactic Empire in this fan-made short

Can Star Fox save Earth from the invading Imperial forces?
This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

While some fan-made content is high quality, and some of it not so much, there is some that’s just plain fun. Why? Because it’s been pulled straight out of our childhood imagination. In this fan-made video, “Star Fox vs Star Wars Invasion: Battle for Earth” by King Bob Videos, has taken two of the most well-known space series and blended them together for one epic battle.

The video starts out simple enough, with Earth military forces trying — and failing — to stop the Galactic Empire from taking over our world. All hope seems lost until we hear the familiar “Good luck!” and Mission Start screen from the Star Fox series. The result is a beautiful cinematic battle between Fox’s team and the Imperials.

While the video does lend itself more to Star Fox lore than Star Wars, it is still an entertaining watch that will bring a smile to the faces of fans for either series. You can check out the video for yourself at the top of this article, or follow this link to watch it on YouTube.
