Earlier today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a new video, as well as confirmed that a game favorite, Scorpion (from Mortal Kombat), would be added to Injustice: Gods Among Us. The video included an exclusive sneak peak at Scorpion, in game, and gave us an idea of what fighting with the character will be like for those that play the game. The hype over the character has been growing for months, and gamers everywhere are looking forward to trying out this “remastered” version of Scorpion.

Specifically, gamers are pleased that the DLC will be available for both the Xbox and Playstation systems, which is not always the case.

The version of Scorpion that will be shown in the game is a take on the original, by Jim Lee. Lee is the co-publisher at DC entertainment. “I kind of envisioned, a kind of a scorpion skeletal….armor overlay” says Lee, in the video released earlier today. The design is meant to honor the NetherRealm Studios’s original game. This new version of Scorpion proves exciting, and gamers look forward to anymore DLC that the creators may have in store for them.
