GoG just gets better and better. Earlier this week, the site announced its official support of Windows 8 on a number of the titles they have available.
There are now 431 (out of 490) titles within the GoG library that now have official support for Windows 8. The games have been tested on the OS and any issues having to do with running on Windows 8 have been fixed, meaning the games are 100% sure to work on a PC running the operating system.
Games compatible with the operating system will simply have it listed under the “Compatible With” section of their in-store page.
A nice side dish to this news is that some of the titles that previously did not work on Windows 7 now will.
GoG continues to offer some of the best games on the PC with no DRM. This is more good news for Windows 8, which is proving to sell pretty well.
