Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will be expanding this summer with its second free major content update called Trouble in Zombopolis: Part One. The upcoming update features new characters, accessories, a new map, and adds overall gameplay improvements, EA wrote in a blog post earlier this week.
The two new characters being added to Garden Warfare 2’s roster is Toxic Citron, a variant of the Citron who “rolls into battle with his toxic toxicity,” and Breakfast Brainz, a crusader who is adorned in a cape of bacon and who “smells as good as he fights.” Much like the other class variants, Toxic Citron and Breakfast Brainz must first be unlocked by collecting stickers before they will be playable.
Players can expect to fill up their in-game sticker books with 1,200 new customization items for the plant and zombie characters, as well as show off these new frills in a new map called Zombopolis, the capital city of the zombies. EA boasted that Zombopolis is the largest zombie map yet.
Improvements added to the game will include character tuning, fixes to various bugs, and adjustments to maps in order to help prevent spawn camping. Legendary items will now feature special backgrounds in the customization menus, and will have borders indicating the rarity of them in the sticker book.

Trouble in Zombopolis: Part One is to be released this summer, but no specific date has been announced yet.
Graveyard Variety Pack, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2’s first free content update, was released back in March.
