Fallout 4 mods have finally made their way to console. and I could not be more pleased with the result. For PC users, mods are just a part of everyday life. But for console users, it has been almost impossible to mod games until today. Fallout 4 is the first game to have modding capability on consoles, and people are having a blast with them.
That's why we're rounding up a few of the best Fallout 4 mods that are available on console right now.
Full dialogue interface by Cirosan
This mod does exactly what it says. One thing that bugged me about Fallout 4 was the way that they got rid of the full dialogue options they had always had. This mod fixes it, allowing you to see exactly what your character is going to say. The mod is truly a game changer.
Spring in the Commonwealth by Foreverasir
With consoles not being as powerful as PCs I was worried that graphic mods like this would not be available. I was wrong. This mod is simple -- it adds grass and flowers to the commonwealth. What was once a barren land with dirt and rocks becomes covered with grass, making the game feel more realistic and almost a little more homey. I highly suggest this mod if you are looking for graphic mods that are just nice to look at.
Everyone's best friend by Vladacil
This mod, much like the dialogue interface, is something that I feel should have been in the game from the start. It's a simple mod allows you to have Dogmeat as well as another companion at the same time. It just makes sense to me.
Dogmeat does less DPS than the other companions, he carries less, and the lone wanderer perk is not affected if you have Dogmeat with you. Just little things like that make it seem to me that Dogmeat isn't really considered a true "companion" -- and is rather just a fun buddy to have along at all times. Besides he is man's best friend, so he should always be with us.
Improved map with visible roads by MM137
For the last 7 months that I have been playing Fallout 4, I never thought the main map was all that bad. Then I saw the improved version with this mod and I realized that the vanilla map is pretty crappy. The modded map makes traveling a lot easier for survival mode, since you can't fast travel at all. With this mod, you are able to take a closer look at the map and follow all the side streets in order to find the fastest way to your destination. It just makes moving around the commonwealth easier.
Fanfare level up! by Boss_Styles
Unlike the other mods that actually help the player out or make the game look better, this mod is purely for fun. And honestly, it's my favorite mod to come out so far. This mod changes the level up music from the vanilla music to the fanfare music from Final Fantasy. Simply put, it's amazing -- that's really the only way to describe it. Check out the video to see just how amazing it truly is.
