PlayStation announced today that they are postponing Horizon Zero Dawn until February 28, 2017. The reason for this extension is so the game will have the best visuals and quality that we have come to expect from PlayStation.
Horizon Zero Dawn was officially announced during Sony’s E3 2015 press conference. Players may not like the push back of the release date, which was originally scheduled for 2016. But to hold our interest in light of this delay, PlayStation launched a new trailer of the game.
Horizon Zero Dawn is an action role playing game set in a post-apocalyptic universe, where machines meet nature. In this open-world game, you play as Aloy — a hunter who starts a journey to uncover the secrets of a forgotten civilization. You can read more about the game here.
PlayStation says that the extra time will help them fully deliver their vision of Horizon Zero Dawn. They plan on sharing more details and videos for the game as the release date comes closer.
