“I’m glad No Man’s Sky is delayed for two months,” said no one ever! Wait no longer, last week Hello Games announced new release dates.
A tweet from PlayStationUK’s Twitter broke the internet. This tweet reveals the new launch date for No Man’s Sky in the UK, the North American release is still August 9, and August 10 for Europe with the UK being brought inline with the European release.
Sean Murray, from Hello Games, explains why the game kept getting delayed.
“However, as we approached our final deadlines, we realized that some key moments needed extra polish to bring them up to our standards. I have had to make the tough choice to delay the game for a few weeks to allow us to deliver something special.”
No Man’s Sky can be bought on disks or digitally, with some retailers offering Steam codes for PC. Steam and the PlayStation Store don’t have a release time for No Man’s Sky, but it should be available 12:01 AM Eastern on August 9, and 9:01 PM Pacific on August 8th. There isn’t a release date for Xbox One, but this is a game Microsoft is interested in having. No Man’s Sky is available for preorder now.
