Dead Rising 4 may not have been the biggest surprise during Microsoft's E3 conference for those of you trawling internet communities looking for leaks, but its reveal was plenty exciting--and not just because of the Christmas music.

Freelancer photographer and journalist protagonist from the first Dead Rising, Frank West, is finally making his return to a mainline game with Dead Rising 4! It's been a long time and despite his aging, he seems just as spry as ever.

Dead Rising 4 on Windows 10 leaks are already abound on all corners of the internet, and fans of the series will be happy to see it looks closer to its roots in overall style than the third game in the series.

Something to note about these leaks, as stated by the leaker, is that the build he was playing was unfinished. While much of the game was intact, there are many placeholders scattered about the build and bugs throughout.

These screenshots have varying graphical quality as the leaker had to rotate between graphical settings to have the game run well. Keep this in mind while browsing them, as the visuals are not indicative of the final product.

The leaker also mentioned that basically every area in the build of the game he was playing was able to be explored, sans placeholder areas. That said, he also mentioned not coming across survivors sans story-related NPCs and did not mention psychopaths.

Dead Rising 4 is set to be released on Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2016's holiday seasom. Hopefully we'll get to see more of it sooner rather than later. Peruse the leaked screenshots, and get hype!
