Lightning Returns picks up where the previous game left off with Lightning waking up from her crystal stasis after 500 years in a new world on the verge of destruction. With only 13 days left before the end of the world, Lightning is chosen as the “savior” who must guide humanity to a new world…before it’s too late!

In this new clip, Lightning battles new monsters and traverses the Yusnaan palace in pursuit of Snow. Lightning is shown running, jumping, and climbing in an action-oriented style of exploration new to the Final Fantasy XIII series. We also get a glimpse of Lightning’s first encounter with new character Lumina.

Lightning Returns will launch in North America on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 11th, 2014.
