I just saw Halo 5’s new teaser for the Xbox One. For all the negativity that Xbox One is getting, Halo 5 looks amazing. Microsoft showed a brief clip of a shrouded figure walking through the desert, on an unknown planet. The shrouded figure removes a trinket from their suit, and looks at it. Around them the desert starts collapsing. A giant mechanized Forerunner technology appears, blowing the hood off the shrouded figure and revealing Master Chief.
I’m sure many of you, like me, are Halo fans; but when I first started playing the game I hated it. When the series first started I hated all shooters other than SOCOM, so I never gave Halo a chance. A buddy of mine got me to try out the franchise when Halo 3 came out (he wanted someone to play with). So I bought Halo 3 and decided to give it a shot. By the end of the first mission I was hooked. I had to go back and buy Halo, and Halo 2 just to get the full experience of the Halo franchise. Over the years I have been clearing the games multiple times for achievements, and to relive a story so amazing that I had to pick up a new shooter. As the game gets closer to launch, I will be anticipating it more and more, preparing for the new Halo by reliving the old ones. I hope all of you are as excited as I am for the next installment of the Halo franchise.
