Atlanta rappers Big Boi and B.o.B. are lending their immense talents to the March 2013 EA release, Army of TWO: The Devil’s Cartel.
The duo have paired up not only to write and perform the game’s theme, “Double or Nothing”, but will also have playable roles in the game. The Devil’s Cartel will feature Big Boi as Charles “Chuy” Rendall and B.o.B. as Anthony “Baker” Barnes — two TWO agents.
The characters are only available through pre-order, however. The Hit-Makers Kit will allow players to play as the rappers and will open access to an exclusive mission.
Both artists are psyched to be involved. From Big Boi:
“Partnering with B.o.B on the Army of Two The Devil’s Cartel theme song and inside the game has been a blast and I can’t wait to load it up, hear the song and see myself in the game,”
B.o.B is ready for the action:
“I love action games, and getting a chance to star in one is definitely something I’m excited about. (The game) has everything I’m looking for in a great game – intensity and huge explosions and destruction.”
Big Boi comprises one half of legendary Southern hip-hop duo Outkast. B.o.B’s latest album, which featured hits “Both of Us,” featuring Taylor Swift, and “So Good” reached number one on the Billboard charts.
Army of TWO: The Devil’s Cartel hits shelves March 26, 2013.
