Today, it has been announced that another demo will be released for Team Ninja’s Nioh. The action title has gained notice for drawing comparisons to the Dark Souls series. Unlike the souls titles, the game is a samurai action game.

The demo will be available to play from January 21-22 for the PlayStation 4.

The game is based on the story of Englishman William as he travels to Japan during the Sengoku period. In the pursuit of an enemy, he meets famous historical figures in this dark fantasy.

Previously, the game has offered demos with different builds of the game. After each demo period players were asked for feedback. Team Ninja has been proactive and tuned each demo according to critiques. Some changes, for example, was the matter of stamina. To curb the game’s already difficult nature stamina reduction was adjusted.

The demo, titled the Last Chance Trial, offers a number of last chances. Players whom conquer the demo will receive bonuses for the full game. Completing the demo will award players with the Orgress headgear. Conquering the Twilight mission (higher level difficulty) will offer the Mark of the Conqueror and the Mark of the Strong DLC. These rewards will be available on release day to successful players.

Fans of action adventure games can look forward to the demo this weekend.

Nioh is scheduled to release February 7 for the PlayStation 4.
