I could start this article by telling you about Mega Man’s long history of genius level design, memorable characters, and top notch gameplay and how the franchise has managed to bring so many innovations to the platformer genre.
However, I have an immense amount of fanboyism for the Mega Man franchise and that could run a little long. So instead, I will just tell you how Mega Man Unlimited will be releasing on July 14 for the PC!
Mega Man Unlimited was started by fellow fan and developer Philippe Poulin as a project that attempted to hypothetically outline how Mega Man 10 might appear following the release of Mega Man 9 a few years ago. The project eventually grew into a full-fledged Mega Man fan game that looks to pay an homage to the retro era that so many of us gamers remember.

MMU will feature that classic Mega Man style we have come to know and love. According to the trailer, MMU will have new levels and bosses that will look and feel like those of old while being fresh and challenging. It will also feature some familiar faces like Dr. Light, those annoying hard hat bots, and of course, Mega Man himself. The classic level select screen will be back along with the quirky yet simple boss names like Nail Man, Glue Man, or Jet Man.
