PSN is scheduled to get some work done this upcoming Tuesday, June 25th, in order to keep delivering the excellence we gamers have become used to. This maintenance will start at approximately 5.30pm BST/6.30pm CET and will last until around midnight BST/1.00am CET. You will more than likely receive a notification on PSN while it is being worked on.
The only thing besides the details that the PSN people had to say about the maintenance was, “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your support.”
There will be some small down-sides to the scheduled maintenance. The PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management will not be available during the maintenance period but players will still be able to access all online play and apps as long as players have signed in to the Network at some point between now and the time of the maintenance. So all gamers, make sure to sign in now or as soon as possible if you plan on being able to access the Playstation network anytime between now and the scheduled time of the maintenance.
