RIFT Free-to-Play December 14-18

Get over to RIFT and experience the free-to-play weekend from December 14-18. Play though the new 20-man raid, the new chronicle, and enjoy the Fae Yule events!

RIFT will be holding one of their fairly regular free-to-play periods from December 14 until December 18. This is just in time for Trion to show off the new game update, 2.1: Endless Eclipse, which went live today.

The update introduces a new 20-man raid, Eternal Eclipse. The raid pits Ascended against Regulos the Destroyer, himself.

Players will also enjoy a new chronicle — A Hero Rises — wherein Ascended work to destroy Crucia’s doomsday device (ALL DOOMSDAY, ALL THE TIME. See GW2’s  Toypocalypse during Wintersday).

And if none of those get you going, RIFT Lite players can participate in the game’s seasonal Fae Yule happenings around the world.

Log on and take advantage of a promo only for former subscribers,  allowing them to explore all of the new Storm Legion expansion for free, and decide if it is worth renewing an old subscription. Or, if you’ve never subscribed, decide if the game is enticing enough for you to do so.
