The mobile action PvP game, Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, has received a mighty morphin’ update, including new warriors, a new league, and a new missions system!
The original White Ranger, Tommy Oliver, has joined the growing roster of heroes, and actor Jason David Frank, the man who portrayed Tommy Oliver in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, lent his talents and teamed up with Lionsgate, Saban Brands, and the game’s developer, nWay, to create the MMRP White Ranger’s powerful move-set. Joining Tommy in the fight is Rito Revolto, Rita Repulsa’s brother from the original series, and three other characters, all of which have their own unique fighting styles.
The game’s combat system has been refined by nWay with the use of feedback from the game’s community in order to shake up the meta and make the RPS rules more consistent across the board.
- Strikes vs. Breakers – Strikes now defeat Breakers at any time during the Breaker animation
- Assist Hit Reaction and Utility – The hit reaction from an incoming attack on an Assist warrior will carry over to the leader warrior requiring players to think more about when to use an Assist in different situations
- Recovery time has been reduced to give blocked players a better chance at countering
Also added is the League 8 Juice Bar Arena! This new league arena location allows you to pummel your opponents in the original Power Rangers after school hangout, all to the beat of 90s themed music.
And if that’s not enough for you, complete the daily and weekly challenges in Power Rangers: Legacy Wars’ brand new mission system. These new challenges provide rewards unavailable in normal PvP matches.
This update is now live on both the Apple App Store and GooglePlay! So pull out your phones and ready your morphers — because It’s Morphine Time!
