Being related to a gamer is something a lot of us have in common. Being related to a gamer with a gamerscore through the roof, racking up (currently) 378,310, makes you realize you’re in the room next to someone leading the Xbox Live community through gamerscore in Nevada alone.
His goes by the gamertag of Roloboloco (which stands for his first two initials of each name, Robert Lopaka Bobby Louis Corey). A nickname he’s gone by for 30 years. As the annoying little brother I am, I began searching through his folder of games to play, but instead I decided to ask a few questions:
Q: “What is your favorite game and why do you play it?“
“My favorite game is Final Fantasy VII. I played it at the time when I moved to a new country. I had gotten it for christmas, and it was the one game that intrigued me the most about what was upcoming with the story, and the different dramatical changes that came up were surprising!”
Q: “What causes this game to appeal to you in the way it does?“
“I was in love with RPG’s anyways, and it had the japanamation that I was into at that age (which was the ripe old age of 24).”
Q: “How often did you play it?“
“I invested quite a lot of time into this game, with eight playthroughs in total, each one racked up around 80-100 hours.”
Q: “How would you feel if they released a remake?“
“I would be jumping for joy just to finally and fully see the characters unpixelated. That way I could see what everything that isn’t a block. However, I’m quite excited for the pre-order bonus for Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns, because it includes the Cloud Strife gear from Final Fantasy VII. It comes with Cloud’s famous victory pose and fanfare music along with his legendary Buster Sword!”
When asking his Xbox about how it feels with Roloboloco using it so often, we were left with this:
“I love to game, you love to game, Roloboloco loves to game, we all love to game! 378,005 points FTW!!! … oh… don’t tell Roloboloco this, but I have been dumbing down the AI lately… I am hoping it keeps him coming back for more! MUHAHAHA!”-Courtesy of 360Voice
However, on the awkward occassion that Roloboloco does not play his Xbox, the system becomes quite disgruntled and apparently lonely.
I could have used some gaming yesterday… I mean who couldn’t? Gaming is like air… ok, maybe not air… maybe more like pizza… regardless there was no pizza yesterday.
Yesterday was one of those times Roloboloco mistook the TV remote for the controller. I mean, come on! They don’t even look REMOTELY alike! HA! Ok sorry…
After annoying him more than enough today, I was abruptly kicked out of his room with my laptop and a weird thing called a body. Yet I came to realize that, hey, you can’t beat an annoying little brother right?
If you have any questions for yourself, feel free to comment below and I’ll relay the questions to him. Until then, have a wonderful gaming experience, and don’t let your Xbox stalk you!
