So due to boredom and constantly seeing the arrow to the knee poster image on the front page of GameSkinny, I decided to let my creativity take over. I’ve been toying around with this idea for about a month now since the Bastion Phase of the internship program. For some reason Afroman’s “Because I Got High“ kept popping up in my head every time I tried to make a parody with an arrow to the knee. So the following is what I came up with.
An Arrow to the Knee
It’s like I can’t win for nothin man

I was gonna play a game but then I died
Had the whole day free to play but then I died
Now my time is wasted and I know why yea heyy
because I took an arrow straight to the knee

I was gonna beat this boss but then I died
I had my arrow notched but then I died
The boss smacked my face so haard yea heyy
So I shot that arrow straight into my knee

I was gonna lead the raid but then I died
I lost my guild promotion because I died
They let than new kid in why oh why?! Yea heyy
He shot an arrow straight into my knee

I’ve stopped running with archers because I died
Stopped talking to them online because I died
Now they all hate me and I know why yea heyy
So they shot several arrows into my knee

Now I’m dressed in white because I died
Got my arms strapped up real tight because I died
I’m trapped in this padded room and then I died yea heyy
Because I still got an arrow in my knee

I woke up screaming in bed because I died
A nightmare so horrendous that I died
I looked down at my legs I wasn’t dreaming oh no
I had an arrow stuck into both my knees

I’ve quit playing all these games because I died
I threw out all my consoles because I died
Now my life’s so boring and I know why yea heyy
Because I died to an arrow in the knee

They’re putting me in my grave because I died
I cut off both my legs so then I died
I couldn’t take it not one more time no no
I couldn’t take another arrow to the knee
