Twitch and Video Games Live are coming together in a big way.
This Saturday, July 20th at 6 PM (during San Diego Comic Con), there will be a special Video Games Live concert providing 20 orchestral and choral versions of gaming most memorable soundtracks. If that wasn’t awesome enough, there will also be several world premieres of upcoming video game music like Destiny and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. A host of guest musicians are also promised including God of War composer Gerard Marino.
Twitch, if you didn’t know, is a video game streaming community where players all around the globe share their gameplay. As of this writing, the site has over 35 million viewers per month. If you’re a Twitch viewer, you can also participate in the Q&A session before the concert using the hash tag #playtheclassics.
It seems that San Diego Comic Con this year is going to be beyond great, and this is the cherry on top! What could make this event any sweeter you ask? The concert is FREE! If you’re going to be in the area, this proves to be something you don’t want to miss. For more information, click here.
While we wait, let’s enjoy some Video Games Live goodness, Shall we?
