Hideki Kamiya the man behind the story of the original Bayonetta and director of both Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 has stated he hopes to have a Bayonetta 3.
A fan on twitter tweeted to Hideki Kamiya asking if there would be a Bayonetta 3 if Bayonetta 2 was a success. Kamiya responded with an “I hope so.” So whether this is wishful thinking or just vague answers to cover up them working on a third game already is yet to be seen.
My experience in the Bayonetta world
I enjoyed Bayonetta when I played it. I got stuck in a battle that I couldn’t beat though and have yet to go back and try to complete it. The gameplay was pretty intense as you progressed through the story. You have to dodge attacks while at the same time damaging the enemies. I died many times because I forgot to dodge. I was a bit disappointed to find out Bayonetta 2 was a Nintendo exclusive. That is the one system I don’t currently have.
My hopes for Bayonetta 3
I really hope Bayonetta 3 if it comes out follows the same style as the original. Whether I’ll play 2 still depends on if I get a Wii U or not but hopefully 3 will be a cross-platform release.
