Sunshine and Rainbows [GW2 Fashion]

This is Maim Swiftkiller, affectionately known as “Maimy” or “The Prettiest Charr Ever”. With her sword and bow, she brings sunshine and rainbows to even the bleakest of places.

I have used this armor set for a long time (it’s actually kind of difficult to find non-Sylvari Cultural armor that works with it!). I like the way the darker purple and grey-blue of the armor contrasts with her fur and the brighter colors of her weapons, and each piece comes together in a sort of “spirit of nature” feel.

 Items used:

• Twilight Arbor medium armor set.
• Maroon Dye in moderate amounts.
• Night Shade Dye in slightly more moderate amounts.
• Fervid Censer backpiece from the Southsun Island event.
• Sunrise
• The Dreamer

The theme of the setup is a fantastical representation of nature: from the morning sky, to animals and plants, and even a bit of the mythical side by incorporating unicorns as well.

Originally, the armor was dyed a much brighter color, a mix of blurple and nightsong. After finding Maroon Dye, however, I decided it was time for a change. Several iterations of various purples, blues and reds brought me to the color it is today.

Here is the dye setup: the darker purpley color is all Maroon, whereas the bluish-grey is all Night Shade.
