Did you invest in a PS branded wireless headset? No worries PS4 will support it.

Today during SDDC (San Diego Comic-Con), a Sony rep confirmed that current generation wireless bluetooth headsets for the Playstation 3 will be compatible with the PS4. Playstation has branded quite a few headsets, from small, one ear chat sets, to a full 7.1 surround sound set known as the Pulse.

As most gamers know, when trying to trade in a high end headset, such as Turtle Beach and Astro, you will only receive the value of a low end model. GameStop will only give you around 8 dollars in trade in. It is good to know that Sony will transition these to the next generation, letting you keep your hard-earned dollars for something more important, like a new PS4 game!

The Sony Playstation 4 will be released sometime this holiday season and has been crushing Microsoft in pre-orders. The console will ship with a price of $399.99, and will include a mono-style plug in headset that will attach to a port on the DualShock 4 controller.
