Publisher Modus Games and developer The Balance Inc. have announced Override: Mech City Brawl, a 3D mech-based party brawler, will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 4.
Override: Mech City Brawl features 12 different player-piloted mechs, each with its own gameplay style and special moves. Once a player has selected a mech, it can be customized with unlockable accessories and skins.
In addition to a single player campaign mode, Override will also feature one-on-one and two-on-two battles, four-person free-for-all battles, and a co-op mode where two to four players pilot one mech, with each player controlling a different part of the mech.
Override: Mech City Brawl will also include a variety of arenas based on real world locations, such as San Francisco, Mexico, Egypt, and Japan.
Interested players can sign up for the closed beta, which takes place from August 10 to August 12, as well as join the official Discord or follow the official Twitter or Facebook pages.
Pre-orders for the full game are currently available. The Super Charged Mega Edition will include a season pass with four extra mechs, 16 new skins post-launch, and instant access to 12 legendary skins which must be unlocked in the standard edition.
Override: Mech City Brawl will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 4, 2018. The standard edition will only be available digitally for $29.99 while The Super Charged Mega Edition will be available both physically and digitally for $39.99.
