Taiko No Tatsujin Returns to the West with Two Games in November

Bandai Namco has announced that Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum Session and Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun will be released on November 2, 2018 in North America and Europe on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, respectively.

Drum Session is the more traditional title and includes a special feature that players will be able to use ghost data in order to play against each other worldwide, while Drum ‘n’ Fun will feature Joy-Con and motion control compatibility and allows players to choose avatars which sometimes have helpful skills, as well as plenty of mini games for players to enjoy.

Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum Session and Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun will be the first titles in the series to be released in the west since Taiko: Drum Master, which released on the PlayStation 2 in North America on October 26, 2004 with a mobile version in 2005. 

Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum Session and Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun will launch in North America and Europe on November 2,2 018 for PlayStation  and Nintendo Switch. It is currently unknown if the track list for either game will be changed for their western release.
