Warcraft, the name it was called in the teaser, was described by those in attendance as a faithful adaptation of the video game world. The movie is set to start production early next year.

The trailer took place in a desert field outside of Hellfire and featured an armored human warrior drinking a potion and drawing a sword just before battling a hammer-wielding orc. With the combination of live action and computer generated effects, the trailer got everyone excited.

Jones told Comic-Con attendees that he’s been waiting for the opportunity to do the film for a long time and is excited to enter the world of Azeroth. A company representative said,

We are excited about the Warcraft movie, which begins production in 2014, and we look forward to sharing more in the future.”

As a huge WoW fan, I’m a little sceptical about the film. How do you feel about Warcraft and do you think it will be successful?
