When Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom‘s The Lair of the Lost Lord DLC drops this winter, it will bring with it a new labyrinth dungeon, a new system that enhances the individual player’s battle style, and a good amount of new weapons and armor.

The new labyrith dungeon is located in the Rubby Ruins. There players will find the Prince of Wraiths — a less than nice guy who wants to bring down the kingdom of Evermore. In order to stop this, players will need to meet the Prince on his own turf.

Luckily, players will have a new way to enhance their battle techniques using the Material Method System. Not a lot is known about this system just yet. What we do know is that it is obtained via memories of the people players meet and that it will add a new fighting style to the game.

As for the new weapons and armor, the devs are introducing over 80 new pieces of gear. And, yes, there will be new quests. In fact, they’ll provide additional backstory to some of the characters players have befriended along the way.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom – The Lair of the Lost Lord will be automatically available to those who purchased a season pass. More information — including a release date and pricing for those buying the DLC seperatelywill be made available in the near future.
