Yesterday the second title in the Nascar The Game series was finally released on PC a short 9 short months after its console counterparts. This game was originally titled Nascar The Game: Inside The Line but to make the PC fans feel special they renamed the PC version Nascar The Game: 2013.
This new Nascar game features a whole lot of improvements on the original. The Career mode will start you out as a rookie driver and as you progress through Sprint Cup seasons you will be able to attract some of the over 60 official Nascar sponsors available. Your crew will also feature the voices of some very famous Nascar names. They will be your crew chief, (Ray Evernham), and your spotter, (Ty Norris).
Sadly with the multiplayer they still haven’t reached 43 drivers on track at once, you have to settle for 16 at a time. You will also have the ability to fully customize your qualifying, practice, and race sessions to make each one unique. The paint booth has also had an overhaul. Creative players will now be able to come up with even more amazing paint schemes using the new mirror tool, more layers than before, and over 60 sponsor decals.
I am not personally a big racing game fan but from time to time I get into them. The console versions also had a DLC pack available with the new Gen 6 model cars from Nascar, the PC version will come with that DLC free on the disc. If you want to pick it up today head over to Steam or grab it off their website.
