IOS FPS Morning Star Gets Serj Tankian to do the Music

Serj Tankian has been announced as the man behind the musical score for upcoming iOS shooter Morning Star.
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

Serj Tankian, most famous for being the singer of the American metal band System of a Down, is now working on the musical score for a sci-fi shooter coming out on iOS platforms. Morning Star is being developed by Industrial Toys. Said developer contains Alex Seropian, one of the co-founders of Bungie, a company that knows a thing or two about creating successful sci-fi FPS games.

Having previously done the score for Stranglehold, this will be Serj Tankian’s second time creating a soundtrack for a video game. It’s common for games to feature songs from popular artists and it is now starting to become a bit popular for famous musicians, like Hans Zimmer and Trent Reznor.

I had no previous interest in Morning Star until hearing about this. Although I don’t own any iOS devices, if it ever comes out for Android, I’d be willing to give it a shot just to hear some tracks from Serj. With a big name like him doing the music, this will probably sell pretty well.
