Fault Guide: Best Heroes Tier List

Choose the best hero for your team using this tier list for Fault, a new MOBA title at Steam Early Access.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Steam’s newest MOBA Fault is making its way through Early Access and already challenging players to find the game’s ideal meta, and a big part of that is pinpointing the best heroes out of its pool. The first step there as a player is to go through tier lists and find what actually works.

Each team has to choose five heroes for their side, including magic casters, melee DPS, ranged DPS, and support characters for a functional and flexible team composition.

S-Tier Heroes

Narbash

  • Attack: 72
  • Defense: 30
  • Speed: 570
  • Mana: 340
  • HP: 530

Despite the menacing looks of this hero, Narbash is a defining support character in Fault.

His Song of My People ability heals himself and all allies within 900 units by 9 to 25 HP every half a second, which is extremely fast. This ability also has the very short cooldown of only 5 seconds.

His second ability March! is just as useful and grants all allies within 1300 units a 25-37% speed boost.

Just by using these two abilities you will have a massive advantage over any other enemy team composition.

Belica

  • Attack: 48
  • Defense: 20
  • Speed: 575
  • Mana: 400
  • HP: 530

Belica is a fantastic ranged hero that can also serve as a support character with a completely unique set of abilities.

If you want to control what’s happening on your lanes, then look no further than Belica’s Command Drone that attacks all enemies within 1800 units.

She can also act quickly and disrupt all enemies using her Seismic Assault ability, which knocks and stuns minions for up to 2 seconds. That is more than enough to give your team a time to restore.

A-Tier Heroes

Sevarog

  • Attack: 70
  • Defense: 32
  • Speed: 585
  • Mana: 350
  • HP: 545

One of the most terrifying physical offensers in the game has a Soul Siphon ability, which drains enemies by taking their HP and making Sevarog stronger.

The cool thing about this effect is that the more enemies you kill this way, the larger the area of effect becomes, which is practically unbeatable under certain circumstances.

In case you need to take out a specific enemy, then Sevarog is the man to do it, as his Colossal Blow attack can insta-kill almost any hero.

Kwang

  • Attack: 59
  • Defense: 32
  • Speed: 590
  • Mana: 320
  • HP: 545

Although Kwang wields a sword, he can be also categorized as a ranged hero since he can throw his sword quite far in order to pin down an enemy or a few at once.

His Judgement of the Heavens skill allows him to send his sword as far as 1650 units dealing 75-135 points of damage to any enemy within the distance. The sword comes back, so you can throw it over and over again.

The sword can also be used as a teleportation device allowing you to transfer Kwang to any spot of his sword using the Fury of the Heavens ability.

With such utility Kwang is currently the most mobile and fast hero in Fault.

B-Tier Heroes

Murdock

  • Attack: 67
  • Defense: 30
  • Speed: 565
  • Mana: 325
  • HP: 570

Enemies with physical armor can be a huge problem and can waste a lot of resources. That’s why Murdock can be a great addition to your hero roster, as he is really the only one who can effectively shred enemy armor.

His Buckshot ability allows him to shoot special shotgun ammo that tears up armor like paper within 900 units.

Also, he can be very useful in case you need to take out a single target that is beyond reach using his Long Arm of the Law laser cannon with unlimited range.

Countess

  • Attack: 61
  • Defense: 31
  • Speed: 570
  • Mana: 365
  • HP: 575

Just like Sevarog this hero has an ability to drain her enemy’s life total, but her range is not as wide as that of Sevarog.

Regardless, her abilities are all focused around dark energy that allows her to deal with both groups of lane minions and single targets.

Countess can also be recast within 4 seconds and jump back to her initial cast position.

Twin Blast

  • Attack: 47
  • Defense: 28
  • Speed: 580
  • Mana: 300
  • HP: 520

At first glance Twin Blast’s stats don’t look super exciting, but he can gain a huge advantage during prolonged fights.

Twin Blast builds up his speed and damage the longer he stays in the fight. If you want to utilize Twin Blast, then look out for such prolonged brawls.

Use his Overdrive ability that stacks damage reaching 10x, where each stack lasts for 2 seconds. This is hard to achieve, but at the end it’s really rewarding.

That’s all you need to know about the best heroes tier list for Fault, and be sure to come back soon for more related guides.
