Guild Wars 2 Fashion – Dante from Devil May Cry 4

Dante, is that you!?

What? Really? Why?

Dante is simply my favorite video game character. The Devil May Cry series, with the exception of DmC: Devil May Cry, is my favorite action game series of all time.

Inspiration

Dante himself from Devil May Cry 4.

But wait, there’s more…

Dante isn’t complete without his Devil Trigger look. So I had to wait until July 28 (achievement rewards) to fully complete his devil transformed look. Without further ado…

Wait.. What.. How?

Dante’s Look

Head Armor: none

Shoulder Armor: none

Chest Armor: Shaman Reward Breastplate (Citadel of Flame reward)

Hand Armor: Heritage Armguards (Hall of Monuments reward)

Leg Armor: Falconer’s Leggings (Tier 2 Human Cultural Armor)

Foot Armor: Krytan Boots (Krytan Armor from Gem Store)

Weapon: Ghastly Greatsword (Ascalonian Catacombs reward)

Posing: /shrug

Dyes

– Flame Dye and Charred Dye – For a more awesome red and brown color. They both bring out more details in the armor than most dyes. And Midnight Fire Dye for darkest brown dye.

Bonus: Dante’s Devil Trigger look

– Head Armor: Hellfire Warhelm (Achievement reward)

– Shoulder Armor: Hellfire Mantle (Achievement reward)

– Chest Armor: Divinity Council Chestguard (Caudecus’ Manor reward)

– Hand Armor: Medium Fused Gauntlets (Frost and Flame living story reward)

– Leg Armor: Falconer’s Leggings (Tier 2 Human Cultural Armor)

– Foot Armor: Krytan Boots (Krytan Armor from Gem Store)

– Weapon: Twilight (and Bolt on secondary slot for lightning-aura effect on armor using weapon swap trick)

Posing: This is quite complicated to explain – First, unsheathe your weapon and then activate walk (Options->Control Options->Walk). NPC or object behind the camera is necessary and should be selected so your character will look to it while walking.

Dyes

– Flame Dye and Charred Dye – Sticking with the nice red and brown color. They both bring out more details in the armor than most dyes. And Midnight Fire Dye for darkest brown dye.
