CD Projekt Red recently aired Night City Wire Episode Four, a full episode devoted to Cyberpunk 2077‘s cars. Whether it’s a stolen lux, cheap-o clunker, or one of Keanu Reeves’ custom Arch motorcycles, there’s a car for any lifepath in Cyberpunk 2077.

CB2077 includes five different car types:

  • Economy — cheap, but functional
  • Executive — snazzy and expensive, full of the latest tech
  • Heavy Duty — ranges from trucks to tanks. Will take a beating
  • Sport — customizable, perfect for racing or demanding respect
  • Hypercar — best of the best, armored, fast, and looking good

Because this is Night City, players can acquire cars the nice way (e.g. buying them) or by stealing them from NPCs.

Every vehicle is unique. One executive car might have its dashboard ripped out (it is stolen after all), while an econo car’s previous owner might have outfitted it with extra solar panels and other doodads.

Whatever players end up with, they can summon their car with a button press, like Geralt summons Roach the horse in The Witcher 3.

While most of Cyberpunk 2077‘s cars come from fictitious brands, CDPR hinted at partnerships with real-life brands, including Porsche and Keanu Reeves’ Arch line of custom motorcycles which were used to capture CB2077‘s car sounds. Futuristic models of them will be available in the game.
