Don’t Mess with the Mes

Functional fashion and a formidable female fighter.
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

Of Ascalonian and Canthan descent, Laia Serahar comes from a long pedigree of human warriors and scholars. Growing up in Divinity’s Reach, she found her talents manifest early in form of illusion casting, which she used for good things, such as scaring off thieves; and sometimes for the not so good, such as escaping from chores.

Weapons?

You can use whatever, but I chose weapons that looked human in origin, such as Honor of Humanity (naturally) and Khrysaor, the Golden Sword.

Why?

I wanted to find a balance between the covered and revealing sets for female characters. I found this set up of clothes to skirt (huehuehue) the line between the ultra revealing and ultra covered light armor sets. I chose these specific pieces because I believe they look good on a human female character (particularly Zhed’s coat and the Vigil leggings) while looking like something that could have been tailored by humans.

For dye, as I wanted to still adhere to the Mesmer colors in the original Guild Wars (and  didn’t want to spend loads of gold on dye), I chose a shade of green and a shade of purple I thought worked well together.
