After years of waiting, The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve are finally getting localized as The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles releases July 27 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam, with physical releases for Switch and PS4. The two-games-in-one bundle will cost $39.99.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles takes place as the 20th-century dawns and follows Phoenix Wright’s ancestor, criminal defense student Ryunoske Naruhodo. Like Wright, Naruhodo doesn’t act alone.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles features a wacky cast of characters, including bumbling detective Herlock Sholmes who’s responsible for more than a few logical dilemmas Naruhodo must work his way out of.

While the series’ core investigation and deduction elements remain largely the same in The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, there are a few key differences. Summation Examination has you rebut jurors’ logic to persuade them of your client’s innocence, for example. There’s also a Story Mode feature that removes the deduction portions so the game plays like a visual novel.
Finally, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles includes the eight additional Escapade episodes, along with new costumes and an image-and-movie gallery.
