The co-op in FIFA 23 is easy to get into, and is cross-platform for those who want to play with their friends on a different platform. There are also no downsides to playing co-op, as both players get the same amount of XP and rewards when playing cooperatively.
This guide will provide you with tips on how to play co-op in FIFA 23. First you need to add a friend to your friends list, and then you need to create a co-op session.
Add a Friend to Your Friends List
Before playing cooperative mode in FIFA 23, you must first add your friend to your game. Here’s what you need to do:
- Go to the main menu.
- Press “R2” (PS) or “RT” (Xbox).
- This will open an EA Social screen.
- Select “Friend Requests” tab.
- Enter the EA ID of your friend into the search bar.
Once the system identified your friend’s tag, press the “Add” button to add them to your friends list. This isn’t platform restricted, so you shouldn’t have issue adding friends cross-platform.
Create a Co-op Session
When you have your friend added, you can actually create a co-op session to play together. Follow these steps to begin:
- Go to “Ultimate Team” screen.
- Select “Play” tab.
- Click on the icon with two players (bottom left).
- Press the “Teammate” button.
- Add your friend from the list.
Once your friend has been added to your session, you can choose one of the following modes:
- Squad Battles.
- Division Rivals.
- Friendlies.
If you want to end the co-op session, then you need to press the “Square” (PS) or “X” (Xbox) button.
